Lenz LV102 5 Amp DCC Booster

The 5 amp LV102 is built to the new RP-9.1.2 specifications. (we have submitted the LV102 to the NMRA for formal C&I testing and expect to receive the warrant shortly.)

The LV102 has programmable DCC track voltages (form 11 volts DCC to 22 volts DCC in 1/2 volt increments, and is equipped with a RP-9.3.1 (revised) cutout for use with RailCom (to be released shortly in our Gold Decoders).

The LV102 is an opto-isolated power station for safety and is built to support all forms of DCC layout wiring including common rail and 2 rail wiring (direct home wiring).

We have changed the rating of our power stations to reflect use in typical environments with typical transformers.

The LV102 has a current rating of 5 amps, 4.4 amps continuous at 50 degrees C.

You can maximize the current rating by using a transformer that is well matched for the desired DCC track voltage.

To achieve maximum power output for the LENZ LV102 choose your DCC System input power supply to be rated at approximately the same voltage as your desired track voltage. For Example:
If you want 15-16 V(DCC) for your track then use the Magna Force.
If you want 12-13 V(DCC) for your track then use Tony's XFR4.
